Meet Maggie
My journey in healthcare began more than 40 years ago as a nurse, where I developed a deep understanding of both the human body and the unique ways people experience health, illness, stress and recovery.

As my career progressed, I moved into senior leadership roles within the healthcare sector, supporting services and teams at a strategic level. While I valued this work, I missed the personal connection that first drew me into healthcare – the opportunity to spend time with people, listen to their needs, and provide individual support.

Following my retirement from corporate healthcare, I returned to what has always felt most meaningful to me: working directly with people through complementary therapy. Today, I help clients create space for relaxation, balance and wellbeing through personalised treatments at Remedy Complementary Therapy in the Ribble Valley.
Experience You Can Trust
My approach combines decades of healthcare experience with professional training in a wide range of complementary therapies.
Alongside my nursing and healthcare management background, I hold qualifications across a variety of therapeutic disciplines, allowing me to tailor treatments to the individual needs of each client.

I am also a qualified trainer with a Diploma in Education and remain committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. As a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), I work in accordance with their strict codes of practice and continuing professional development requirements.

This combination of clinical understanding and holistic therapy allows me to provide safe, professional and personalised care, helping clients relax, restore balance and support their overall wellbeing.

Our Approach
At Remedy Complementary Therapy, I believe that wellbeing is never one-size-fits-all. Every person arrives with their own experiences, challenges and goals, which is why each treatment begins with a thorough consultation and is tailored to your individual needs.

Whether you are seeking support with stress, relaxation, sleep, emotional wellbeing, or simply looking for time to pause and recharge, my aim is to provide a calm and welcoming space where you feel listened to, understood and cared for.

I have a particular interest in supporting women through midlife and menopause, helping them navigate the physical and emotional changes that can accompany this stage of life.
Based in the Ribble Valley, my treatment room has been created as a place to slow down, reconnect and prioritise your wellbeing.

A place to breathe.
A place to feel heard.
A place to reconnect with yourself.

Whether you choose reflexology, massage, aromatherapy or another therapy, my goal is simple: to help you leave feeling calmer, more balanced and better equipped to manage the demands of everyday life.
